Elinor Walter Art

Elinor Walter / Nora Nagy / was born in 1970 in Hungary. During her childhood, she grew up in a small city called Leninvaros; which is now known as Tiszaujvaros. She learned art in elementary and high school. Modern art had a big impact on her artistic view point when she realized the difference between Classical Art, Modern American school projects and European Modern Art painters' works. She studed the XX. century's best modern impressionists works like; Wassily Kandinsky, Pablo Picasso, Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock / She was 30 in Toronto, Canada when she started to concentrate on developing her own art style in abstract impressionism. The artworks by Elinor Walter show strong abstract elements with straight line object compositions and accurate abstract features with balance in geometrical concept and color use. From the viewers point of view it is easy to recognize the unplanned order in the geometrical 'chaos'. The mixed colors used by artistic balance show the great positive viewpoints by the artist. Besides the abstractions, she also works on oil patchworks on bigger canvases with aggressive paint material usage. Her art definitely points out a great, balanced message using shape and color combinations from a clear and simple artistic technical way.
Since 2005 she has been living in England.
